Butt Quota
« on: May 20, 2016, 04:10:08 PM »
I don't see anything on WDFW's site about how many fish have been caught so far. I am interested in area seven next week. Anyone heard if they plan on keeping it open for the whole scheduled season or if its closing early?

The state does not have in season management for Puget Sound areas. Typically they don't even have catch reports in until early the following year. So area 7 will be open on its scheduled days.

Areas 1-4 have in season management.

It was actually pretty cool. They boarded my boat and were super respectful. My flares expired in 1993 and my brand new in the package horn wouldn't work. I have to get those two things fixed or I get fined.
