you should remove that part about the odds for unit 27
Why? Since it's not readily available and the hunt is a cake walk after you draw?

Easiest sheep hunt there is in the lower 48 is what I heard.   Not sure why more people don't apply. :dunno:

:chuckle: one of those hints where you are already making payments to the taxidermist as soon as you find out you drew the tag. Like fish in a barrel. A real sleeper of a hunt.  :chuckle:  :tung:

Mostly road hunting...
It is hard to follow one great vision in a world of darkness and of many changing shadows. Among these shadows men get lost.

That's what I have been told but I don't have any first hand experience with a oil tag in my pocket.

Sounds like unit 27 would be a good one for you to apply to if you do want that first hand experience, especially for Idaho residents.

Idaho unit 27, the best sheep hunt in Idaho!!!

Word on the street is July 1......
your source is as bad as bigshooter's!  You were telling me Friday last week.  I think it will be out when it's out.  And that comes from a reliable source :chuckle:

I hear that it's getting harder though. Rumor is that they've figured out if you shut your rig off that need to start running. I hate shooting with my scope being fuzzy from the vibration of the engine. Might be time to look at Tesla X for a hunting rig.

That's why I never apply for it either, nothing to do with the fact I have a job, a wife and 2 young boys so can not commit a month of my life to living from a backpack and chasing sheep for a month. Have some friends who applied this year as partners, I asked my buddy what he planned to do if he drew, kinda playing devils advocate and by the time our convo was done he pretty much told me "I really hope I don't draw"

The sheep hunts don't interest me that much but a unit 50 goat tag seems to be calling me.
