Don't pass up the bull you posted!  That is a decent bull for the unit. He should be a small 6 by the time he finishes or a big 5.

Ya I hear ya man that's seems to be the script for him a lot of people are telling me he's gonna be just a crab claw of a 6 or a nice 5 . But either way I think I'd shoot him . I just want a solid bull that represents hard work and dedication and does the unit well you know .

I don't think I could pass him up. Of course I never killed an elk. :chuckle:

It sounds and looks like you are doing your home work. Just remember where you are seeing those elk now you probably wont see them there come hunting season. Think steep and deep for the Bigger Bulls. Good luck

headed out Friday after work checked my cameras Friday night and headed to a completely new area to hang one more camera if we found a good spot to hang one and boy did we ever ! im really liking this new area we found !! but on my cameras I checked Friday is really going to make it hard to leave that spot  :o   LOTS of cows and 5-6 different bulls and its only july come September cant imagine whos going to be moved in ! awesome weekend of scouting !! even heard some bulls bugling Friday night with that big bright moon ! cows chirping and bulls bugling us to sleep what a weekend ! found a nice shed Saturday on our hike into our camp ! pictures to come !

The more cows you get on your cam the better off you are. Come September the bulls will be moving towards the cows. But it's always nice to get the bulls on cam so you know what's in that area. It's looking good so far
