I would like to believe that people have enough ethics or common sense to not just throw lead or flick sticks at outrageous yardages.
If u are up to date with bow hunting at all then u wouldn't consider arrows to still be sticks...
I also wouldn't be considering shooting a bow at a 140 yards either.  But I would say that most of the animals on my wall would say otherwise just sayin.
Get a new bow then just sayin... Animals on everyone's wall have a say  :dunno: :chuckle:

You crack me up!  Hard to forget that 90 yard shot Bildo took that center-punched that big buck's chest last year.    He caught a raft of crap for taking that shot, but ultimately, he was completely resolute in his abilities.   (I couldn't find his thread but his 2015 success photo was posted on 07 Sept. last year).

To each his own, I say.

Good thread Dale.  Didn't learn anything about your original question, did you?  Whether you were baiting the boys, just looking for some summertime fun by generating a discussion about the ethics of long distance shooting in bow hunting, or completely serious in your entire discussion, you've given us something to laugh (or cry) about.  Perhaps you should start a new thread if you have real questions - otherwise, just keep throwing kindling on the fire.  83 days till the archery opener.............
