Is there any updates on our current b.s. No Fishing situation? I'm about ready to turn outlaw!

With the quota of kings and the pressure that will be there, area 9 might be open for a couple hours on July 16th
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

Fish for what & where. We can fish for something pretty much every day of the year.

I should clarify. I'm a North end Puget sound salmon and Steelhead fisherman. You know the guys that got junk punched by WFC and WDFW. We should be punching Sky summer runs on our cards right now and bonking kings on the Skagit. This crap blows!

Sea run cutties are still open. It's a catch & release fishery, but a good time.

It's "Where can you fish" this year. You got a big boat and $$ you can travel, fish the coast or the Columbia. And hire a guide or charter. But expect those fisheries to be a zoo and over fished.
The average bank fisherman on a low budget or the guy with a small boat is screwed.

You don't have to have the biggest boat I  the fleet t fosh the Columbia in august for kings.  You can fish a 16' boat real easy if you have good judgment.  They also fish with kayaks.  I can line you out with were to launch and the basics on how and we're to fish if your interested.

Apparently there is only enough room for the tribal nets in the North Sound.

For most fishermen here it is not feasable to drive so far to put some salmon in the freezer. This 2016 salmon plan only cators to the tribes and the big shot rich man.

I had a memory from last year and the year before come across my Facebook feed yesterday of some Skagit springers in the box. Really peeved me. Luckily I'm busy with a home remodel right now or I'd be going absolutely bonkers.
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.
