Well not much of a story just dumb luck we were hiking and glassing all day up in Hancock on our way out we spotted him crossing a skid road my buddy followed him in the brush i quickly surveyed the terrain and took off down a near by skidder and waited. He popped out about 15 yards away totally unaware i was there and it was over.

Nice bear. congrats. lots of em in there just hard to catch em out of the thick brush. was he full of salmon berries? seems all the bears have not been moving much, just sitting eating in small ares all day in berry patches.
