I drew the quality elk white river archery tag
« on: June 13, 2016, 11:19:44 AM »
Looking forward to getting into some high country elk!  Did anybody else draw this tag this year? I know it isn't what it used to be, but I'm going to try to give it hell.

Good luck with that tag. Hit it hard and you should get action.
Looking forward to the story.

Congrats to you! My buddy drew it also; I'll just be along for the fun. I've got some trail cams up the unit, maybe I'll share some pics through the summer to get everyone excited.

I will be up there labor day weekend hunting with my boy. He might go with his bow that weekend and then switch over to the rifle. Would be killer to watch him shoot one with the bow. Can't wait.

What kind of tag does he have that would allow him to hunt that early?  White River quality archery starts Sept 10th

Lucky guy, that'd be a great tag to get.  I'm stuck with the "Not Selected" tag this year...

Congrats to all who drew this tag. I have hunted it in the past know some real good areas, if you dont know where to go in the unit PM me I can help.
The road is closed at the bottom so keeps the weak hearts out.
Get in shape and you can get a real nice Bull out of that unit.
Good luck in all your hunting adventures
