Biggest differences are the sight tape is angled toward you on the new one, and the level is built into the colored ring on the face of the pin guard on the new one. The adjustment wheel sticks out further on the new one as well. I had both and like the old one better. The changes on the new ones seem more like cost cutting than actual improvements. The older one should be cheaper as well.
