Drew 2nd tag in 124.
« on: June 17, 2016, 08:39:46 AM »
I know this are has quite a bit of private timber co. land but looking at their map it isn't in the north end of this unit.  I have been looking at google earth and found some area behind gates that doesn't look like it's posted looking at the street view.  Can anyone tell me if this land in the northern part of the unit is the same timber company if it is able to be hunted via walk in?  By the way I'll be archery hunting it in December.

Thanks!

Most of it is inland paper co. That you would need to buy the pass for. Couldn't tell you which is what just know that that company owns a lot around there.

I hunt that area almost exclusively.  IEP owns almost all the timber land where I go, but Stimson Lumber has some parcels as well.  If you can find out where you are going to be on a map, the Spokane County Assessor's web site will tell you exactly who owns what in the area.  That is how I figured it out.  Hope this helps.

Might as well ask, but does anyone have property in 124 or know people who want their herd thinned a little.  I have some timber land I'm going to scout in November but if I can find someone who wants a doe shot that's even better.  You can PM me if you don't want to reply directly.  I'm a very safe, respectful, and responsible hunter.  Thanks for any info!

No private land to offer, but I sent you a PM with some parcel #'s to look at on the Spokane Co Assessor's site.
