My uncle, every year will have a couple big boys on his property all summer long. Almost eating apples out of your hand. By the end of September they're well gone. We won't see them during hunting season, or ever again as far as we know. Not a ton of hunting pressure either. Smart deer. There's a reason they get big, and stay big.
