I-177 qualifies for ballot in MT

This has so many implications for Sportsmen in MT. Think, so what I'm not a trapper, think again.
Animal rights activists have been trying to get this on the ballot for 6 years. It finally happened. There will be no more trapping on public land if this passes. Do you think wolves can ever be controlled without trappers?  This will hurt hunters same as no hound hunting has hurt hunting in WA. If they can pull the rug out from under trappers in MT who is next?
If asked give MT trappers some help. We are all in this together because HSUS and their ilk hate hunters just as much as trappers.

This will pass.  Western MT has become a destination for Californian retards.

"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

In 2004 MT passed a right to hunt constitutional amendment. Trapping was considered to be included in the language although not explicitly included.
I have always been lukewarm to the right to hunt constitutional  amendment approach. It seems like it does no harm and maybe good but as we can see from this ballot issue there may be a false sense of security created by right to hunt laws.

Western WA is identical.
