Tribal members have zero to gain from leaving the animal and nothing to lose by taking it. They know at the very least they can sell the meat. At best, it'll feed their family. It's the guys shooting for "the fun of it" who would leave the animal to rot.

Been there..............tried that.

WDFW confirmed that it was shot, in the neck. They didn't say/ I didn't ask, if they recovered a bullet.
Just for the heck of it, I'm gonna hang a couple cheap cams to see what I may catch, never know.
