I managed to get the MS elk, even though she hit the wrong button 3 time.  She typed fast, and got it done.

I was the only one there, and explained to the lady what was going on.  She thought it was exciting.

Logged me in at 10:28, and refreshed it at 10:30.  The tag was there (wasn't there at 10:15)

That's funny stuff. I got an email saying they expected to sell out in 30 seconds. Sounds about right.

I'm pretty sure it was under 20 seconds.  The guy in front if me had his at 10:30:05.  Mine was scanned and entered and no option to select and it wasn't even 10:30:20.  Dang fast!

Got one for the fiance, guy at the register was fast. Had the phone set on a timer soon as it rolled over bam. All things being equal on the clicking it comes down to internet connection speed and proximity to the wdfw server that handles it all.

Second year in a row on the MS-Elk and the draw points keep adding up.  New guy at the counter this year so I explained the process and the time critical nature of the event.  He logged in early and read the WDFW message to the dealers.  He started scanning and selecting until at 10:30 the MS Elk tag appeared as an option.  Selected, blank screen and printer printing, money shot!!!  He was in a race more than myself.  I told him there are 500+ dealers in the state and only 201 of them can "win" today, he was into it, he wanted it worse than me.  In the end, he had more fun than I did and mentioned to me that was the most fun he had selling a hunting license ever, and don't think he can ever top that, unless of course next year he is doing it again.  Experience is dangerous....  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Sounds like next year I'll have to do some scouting for the fastest sales associate. The competition is fierce.
