Anyone tried this app?
« on: August 05, 2016, 04:43:46 PM »
http://www.velocitip.com

Switched to Black Eagle Rampages and lightened the draw weight of my bow a few pounds so I need to make a new sight tape for my 3 pin Black Gold Ascent. I've always just chronoed the bow and used the Black Gold sight tape of the corresponding FPS reading and have been fairly happy.

I've been wanting to get way more technical with archery though and have been thinking about subscribing to Archers Advantage to make sight tapes but then I came across the app that I linked to above and wanted to see if anyone has tried it. Anyone? And if not how bout Archers Adavantage?

I'm just wanting to take more ownership in archery. i.e. arrow building, bow tuning, bow maintenance, I want to learn it all.

Thanks,

Drew.

I purchased AA and tweaked out on it hard!  Like I had my wife trying to use a tape measure while i am at full draw in the living room.  I spend hours measuring and checking everything to be exact as i could and guess what.  I printed the tape and matched it up to the one that MBG sent with the sight and it was exactly the same!  AA is nice for checking things like correct arrow spine and FOC before you need to go buy arrows...

Haha. Well ain't that somethin. I still have a bunch of MBG tapes. I'll cross reference one with what archers advantage spits out.
