Always check those who are too willing to help.

The husband pleading for his wife's safe return.
The arsonist returning to the scene.
Etc.

Leave no stone unturned.

It's funny to me how many people are bashing the victim in this. Granted he put himself in a position to be a victim, but at the end of the day he didn't break into someone's truck and steal their property like the suspect did. I'm sure the guy is a good guy most of us would probably like if you met him but many seem content to kick him over a mistake he no doubt realizes. YMMV

Like I said earlier in the thread, I am sure he realizes he screwed up.  Now he is just looking for help to get his trophy back.  He doesn't need to hear what he did wrong, he doesn't need to hear what could be happening to his trophy.  I am sure he is playing all of the scenarios over and over in his head of I should of done this or that.

Nice bull, but it's 2016.  Showing it off for a year in the back of your rig is just asking for problems!  :peep:  :chuckle:
Do you really think he was driving around with it in the back of rig for year he was coming from a hunting banquet yeah he made a mistake.

Was he attending the Fallen Outdoor's Annual Banquet? The same date. A hunting banquet where he might have had an invitation extended to him to bring his trophy class horn is a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why he was driving with them... Let's not keep victim blaming, keeping our eyes out and blaming the scum that stole em should be the focus since we don't know the full details of the story.

YES!   That X 1,000,000

The guy is a fellow hunter who took a trophy and had it stolen.

How about a little solidarity and support for the guy and leave the snide remarks for the dirt bag thief.

I would be totally heart sick if someone stole one of my trophies.

He definitely wasn't at TFO with those antlers.

I would be on the police about getting credit card info around the time of the theft. Someone comes out of the bar loaded and thinks hmmm those horns are *censored* let's take em. Just a thought. I would not stop until found! And come on people lets quit bashing this guy. I'm sure at one point in time we all have had something stolen and afterwords you think to yourself, that was stupid for leaving something we're it could be taken. I'm sure he is beating himself up enough! Best of luck getting them back!

Open your eyes and read... he had them with him for a club banquet, and if he wants to be full of himself I feel that he can be all he wants about that hunt and bull...  :twocents:
