My dad. I have learned I need to walk on his right side to keep him going in a straight line.  Lol but I'm having a good time.  Makes me think about all the hunts he took me on as a little kid and the patience he must of had.

I hope you fully understand how important and valuable these hunts with your dad are.  There are more in the rear view than there are in the windshield.  Soak it in and enjoy every second of it.  Oh and take more pics.  Can never have enough pics of dad in the field.

Had a bit of a surprise today.  Sat and Sun we had the spot we were hunting all to ourselves.  Decided since it was Monday we could sleep in an extra 1/2 hour.  When we got to our spot someone who we hadn't seen all weekend was parked there.  Oh well that's public land hunting.  We quickly shifted to plan B and saw several antelope just not as many as we had seen the prior two days.  One that was a shooter. But he was just too far.

That photo will be a family heirloom for sure. Nice antelope too, antelope are just great looking critters.
Congratulations!
