Orcas and Humpback Whales
« on: August 18, 2016, 12:34:29 PM »
I had a family reunion up on Vancouver Island last weekend and we were lucky enough to see several orca pods and humpback whales in the Strait of Juan de Fuca!

Here are some of my favorite shots.  Such a cool thing to experience!

I've got more pictures up on my blog if you want to see more, didn't want this post to take forever to load! http://www.countryhuntress.com

I saw a news article about a seal that jumped in to the back of a tour boat to avoid a pod of Orca. Pretty cool video.
