There was a short (45 min) documentary on this called Remington Under Fire by CNBC. A quick google search will pull it up. I enjoyed watching it.

Got rid of my Xmark trigger before the rifle was ever fired.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

all of mine are too old to be included in the settlement.   I would guess the 2006 date was picked as it's probably the date the current owner purchased the Remington company.

Thanks, I think my elk gun is affected by this. :(

Might be a good time to just upgrade the assembly and get a 120$ refund towards it rather than have them install another factory job.

Thanks for the reminder, my rifle is in that year range of the class suit.  I'm probably going to put in a Timney trigger but if not I submitted a form to Remington.
I know I've lost it, let me know if you come across it

It will then be sent back to me   I will promptly remove the factory trigger again  putting my Timney back in   save the New x mark for if and when I ever sell the Rifle that way no enterprising young lawyer can sue me for not doing du Diligence with a recalled Trigger
