Here is a new one for you guys. Upstate New York timber whitetail 11/8. Still hunting at its finest.



Don't know what it is but loading a deer in a canoe just feels right.

I don't miss much about the north eastern USA, but I do miss the hardwood forests and whitetail hunting in upstate Pennsylvania.  These thick evergreen boggy forests on the West side are hard to get used to!

One of the few things I miss about NH and ME is the whitetail hunting and the hardwood forests in the fall.

Thanks for the nice comments. My biggest blacktail to date (the mark wasn't set very high). God blacktails are hard to hunt. I got lucky and caught one in a field but I LOVE still hunting the timber for them. Too much fun and frustration.
