Good luck to your old man, what a hunting season he is having. Hope his luck keeps up.

Take lots of pics!
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Well today didn't go as planned.  The spot we had seen the rams in yesterday only had ewes and lambs today.  My brother finally spotted 4 rams in another drainage but lost track of them when they went around a bluff.  My nephew and I looped around to see if we could get above them and if we did spot them could my dad get to them.  We decided that it was too difficult of a spot to get him above where we thought the sheep were.  So instead of blowing them out we backed out and will try and find them tomorrow.   There is a guy that lives down here that has been a part of 84 sheep hunts and just killed a big Ram in Nevada.  He has told us that if we don't get one in the first 2 days to give him a call and he will help us out.

Day 2.  We saw two groups of Rams today. One group of 4 that we are calling the teenagers has maybe 1 shooter in the group.  The other group of 3 are all shooters.  Unfortunately all of them are not in an easy kill able spot for my 78 year old dad.  We still have 12 days.  I told him on day 10 I was going to tie a rope around him and drag him up the mountain. :)

Hunted until dark and then had an hour plus drive back to camp.  We fanned out in 3 groups today to look at some new country. Only saw 1 ewe and a couple of lambs.  We are going back in where we saw the good rams on monday and hope they have come back.

We also heard that 1 of the 3 hunters tagged out.  We heard it was 164" and change.

No sheep. Everyone's a sleep in the jeep.  But I am still looking through the scope. Full of hope.
