I think I'm gonna scout around the area in the coming weeks and was wondering if anyone has a good entry point.  I was thinking of driving in as far as I could then hike around for the day getting a general idea of the area and looking for likely spots.  So is there an entrance and parking that would put me in the best spot to start looking?

There are roads that go all over it.  I'd go in by the refuge headquarters and drive in from there.  Lots of gated gravel roads, but also a fair amount of people.  We've had success hiking in on the gated roads and then hiking off of them once we get in a ways.
