I'm interested in taking my newest hunter out after rabbits n squirrels for getting her ears wet. She's 7 and is wicked accurate with her cricket to 60-70 yards  8)

I heard squirrels are greasy and all rabbits carry disease? Seems a bit off as I grew up on rabbit and loved them.

Following.  My son wants to get his feet wet with some rabbit and squirrel hunting.  Got him his first rascal .22LR a few months back.

I never really see any rabbits what is a good strategy for hunting them?
