GoPro for Hunting
« on: September 22, 2016, 09:42:34 AM »
After pheasant season ended last year, the withdrawals were bad for me.  I had such an amazing time with the new pup.  I watched youtube videos of hunts for a couple of months until the shakes stopped.

Is anyone using a gopro for their bird hunts?  Any recommendations or stories to share?

All I can tell you is they are really fun! My nephew runs one either on a dog mount or a barrel mount.  Fun to watch and easy to do once you get the hang of it.

I've got the gopro and a shotgun mount. Just never got around to actually setting it up last year. How did the videos come out. Seems like I need to mess with the video options so stuff doesn't seem so zoomed out.

I like the shotgun mount. I have a deal for wearing it on my head but I don't have to GoPro hooked up to my phone so I can't tell if it's recording or not So I prefer the gun mount.
