Cast Rapala Countdown or Krocodile spoons. Rainbow pattern for the rapalas and hammered silver w/orange stripe for the Kroc's. Caught this one at night casting rapalas.

I was actually in a boat in 2 feet of water when I caught that one. I catch several over 8 pounds every year while fishing from shore....not to mention lots and lots of eating size walleye---like these.

We used to catch them from shore not far from Buck canyon and a lot of people used to fish the boat lunch up the road.

Usually early fall  (now ) and early summer. Forget the orange yarn on the rapala..I like to cast until about 11 o'clock and then troll until I quit.
