I think that double main beam is really an eyeguard.  Higher magnification, say 100X, would likely give us a better clue.    Are you going to harvest that buck this year or give him one more year to see if he makes book?

Funny you say that. As kids we had our own P&Y club......"Bausch & Laumb"- our motto;   Any body can see a 4x4 at 200 yards and shoot it, but it takes a better hunter to see a buck of this caliber at distance. So to answer your question, this buck can only regress and become less of a trophy.  :chuckle:

Yeah looking closer at his round gut and swayed back, he looks like he's an old regressed warrior.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Heck yeah I can see it, it would be even more clear if you dabbed the milk off his lips first :chuckle:

I'd talk your Taxidermist into trimming those ears down to make that trophy rack look even bigger. Maybe spring for a fawn cape if you can find one to help those little ticklers stand out a even more. Spray paint any spots brown of course.

Mounted next to a jack-a-lope and you got a couple a real impressive convo starters.
