Newb question here, but how much boned out meat do you generally see from an Alaskan moose or caribou?

I've got about 600 pounds of meat off both my moose I took up there. That's boned out.

Yes, anywhere from 450lbs to 600 depending on the size of the bull and about 150 on a caribou give or take

My old man has always wanted to do a caribou hunt but he has a replaced knee and doesn't get around well. He can do firm ground and rolling terrain but not steep or soft ground. You guys have any camps in areas like that? I think he is more interested in getting a caribou not getting into the record books.

Also what kind of camp do you guys set up? Is it a tent big enough he can get a sleeping cot into or is it sleeping on the ground. I would love to set something up for him and I and probably that ctwiggs guy would come along too lol but I know he won't be up for it if it is going to be too tough on him.

Hello,
yes i can put you in a spot that is not to soft  and not to steep,  the tents are big dome tents, with plenty of room for cots, if you want to give me a call feel free and we can go over more details, but im sure we can accommodate your dad.
