I don't have it, but those cameras have an imaging sensor closer in size to your 'Bamaphone than a DSLR. Along with your lens that is the primary technical determinant of image quality, although skill and technique matter more than either. With a smaller sensor you wont have that much control of depth of field if you like that shallow bokelicious look and your low light shots will be very '
grainy' from high ISOs. not sure what you're planning to shoot and how you want to shoot it but for $600 I can think of several ways I'd rather spend my money.
