Hmmm looks just like the "chicken" teriyaki I got last night in Monroe, coincidentally there's like a dozen missing cat flyers up around  :dunno:
House cat: The other, other, other white meat!  :chuckle:

I was actually thinking about how good it would be with some sticky white rice to go with that sweet and sour sauce I have. Hind quarters and front shoulder are whole and I'm thinking about marinading them for a few days and cooking them on the grill. That's the first way I really cooked them a few years ago and it was killer!

I will say I have pondered what a civet actually tastes like but I have to draw the line somewhere. After the end times apocalypse where all that's left is cockroaches and civets, I might try one but until that day I think I'm OK with not knowing if they're good or not.  :chuckle:

I have heard it said that the front quarters are not bad but the hind quarters are a bit strong. :chuckle:

Went out today to hopefully get some decent pictures of the trapline and ended up with two animals for me and my trapping buddy. Had 6 drown sets and 6 cat sets out and I was surprised to not see any skunk activity at any set. I'm figuring out that my larger swim thru traps have a hole that is plenty big enough for muskrats to swim thru. One was tripped today empty and the next trap downstream which was my older 10x12 had a rat in it. Same exact scenario happened in the same spot two weeks ago with the last rat I caught. Have to do some modifying I guess. The one spot I have a cat set has lots of furry turds in the area so hopefully I might get a cat out of there but it could also be from yotes so who knows.

I tried having her hold the beaver off the ground for a good picture but she kept saying it was WAY too heavy. Weighed maybe 20 lbs.  :chuckle: Turned out to be a fun day for both of us.
