I'm sorry, but I read it the exact same way AWS did.

If that's how you guys read this, then you are ignorant. A couple buddies and I know most farmers in our area that we hunt. I would've worded it almost the same way. You do that kind of thing when your a local to a specific area. If somebody sees this on the forum and thinks it's okay then they shouldn't be hunting in Washington state. Not all states have trespass laws like Washington. There are several where it is okay to drive around and smoke coyotes without permission at all. AWS in positioning his sarcastic post was not a question in my opinion but an assumption. Something that is pretty common on this site which inhibits other from posting their photos and hunting stories (which is one of the only reasons I visit this site). So keep doing what your doing and folks will post less and less.

Does anyone at these competitions call them or just drive around amped up on Red Bull and booze?  Not knocking that but just curious.

Actually alot of guy's call the dogs in. We get amped on red bulls,actually monsters,and try to find them at night,or at least until 2/3 am than head home get a few hours sleep and head back out. The bad thing about the night hunting is the amount of deer out,we saw at least 100 deer,and a fair amount of those were NICE bucks. The next day we saw over 200 more deer.  And I'm underestimating numbers. It got to a point to where we were,oh look surprise,more deer

  I agree I have hunted around farms and ranches my whole life and would have also worded it the same way. The way I read it is I know the 95% I can hunt on and more importantly know the 5% I don't have permission on and I don't shoot on the 5% until I get permission. Thanks for posting eastside I would like to get into this next year looks like fun.
