Good weekend along the Palouse.

Had a blast whacking the yotes. My 243 and 55 grain ballistic tips are a deadly combination.

I bet that farmer was happy you came by. Was the cow a coyote kill?

Spent five days over there during Christmas and saw yore tracks everywhere I hunted. Unreal how many there seems to be.

No, this cow succumbed to the frigid cold. The rancher said it was pneumonia and put it down. I asked him to move it out to 100 yards knowing the yotes would be there to clean up. I only killed the 1 from the cow. The yotes were easy to see at night against the snowy ground.

I was shocked at the lack of quail and the amounts of feathers from coyote and hawk kills. Way too many coyotes over there.
