Fun stuff york!  Thanks for sharing it all.  I'm with BullBlaster, I'd love to see those 215's!  I currently running the 212 eldx in my 300wsm.  My youth hunter took a big cow with it a few weekends ago on a damage control tag.  I've got a whole pile of them if you need some more bullets to play with.
I've got a bunch of bullets sitting on the bench to mail out to him this week!

I'll add them to the list if you can spare a few!

Didn't see it on your list but have you tested any Berger 230gr .30cal or 208 Amax?  Can send you a few more if you'd like to test them.

York... Would you be willing to test out some 85gr (.243) Sierra gameking hpbt and it's bigger brother 165gr (.308) gameking HPBT in both the .243win and .308 cartridges? If I mailed some to you of course.

Absolutely! I may improvise and run them from the 6mm BR and 30-06 though. I have 243 and 308 barres sitting under my work bench, but I'm too lazy to mount them on actions. :chuckle:

I've been shooting 140gr Hornady Spire Points in my 6.5x55 and am considering switching to 120gr Barnes TTSX.  Would love to see those bullets tested for comparison sake.  Especially at 2200-2500fps impact velocities.

I have some 140gr Hornady's I can spare if necessary.  Don't have any Barnes 120's though, at least not yet.

FWIW, I've never recovered a 6.5mm 140gr Hornady.  Put 3 or 4 of them through deer.  In my 9.3mm the Spire Points have taken 2 elk at 200-250 yards with complete pass throughs.

York, do you have any 123 A-max to try in that Grendel (or preferably, at Creedmoor velocity)?

I think I have some of the 140 Hornadys tucked away somewhere, I'll see if I can find them. I haven't tried the 120 TTSX but I was going to give them a go out of my 6.5 BRX when I had that put together.

I do have some of those. I'll get some loaded up and give them a go. Is there any special impact velocity you're looking for?

Excellent, thanks!

York, did you want some 338 - Elite Hunter 300 grains ?  Likely same as the Berger OTM/Hybrids but I hope not !

Nothing real specific, but maybe ~2200-2400 fps, which would be roughly 250-400 yards from a Creedmoor depending on the load.
Very interested to see what you come up with!

I have a bunch of old BB's you can test.

I'd like data at 10ft 50ft 25yds and a 100yards.

I'd also like to know if they are tumbling after impact.
