More wdfw system issues with licenses
« on: February 27, 2017, 01:22:12 PM »
Well after finally getting the accounts sent up and having issues doing so I went to the store to pick up my fishing and hunting licenses. But the system only printed off the top half of the catch record card. Leaving out the recording section. Store could not get through to the great service of our wdfw on phone call. So look at my email to see it saying that i cant use till i get it in the mail. Also said that my hunting tags are invalid till recieved in the mail. But im holding in possession the hunting tags. Gotta love our wonderful department.
Maturity is when you have the power to destroy someone who did you wrong but instead you breathe, walk away, and let life take care of them.

If it left off the recording section, I'm guessing :twocents: your clerk didn't check the boxes.

Sounds just like the fishing license the store printed off for me the other day. They called and called and eventually I got tired of waiting and left with a fishing license that you couldn't read. Good thing I won't need it till April

I was actually fairly impressed (for Washington DFW), I'm not blowing a gasket for a license I would not need for at least a month. I do my purchasing online so don't have to worry about going to the store for the license and not getting it printed correctly.  If it really came down to it and they did not get me a readable license and I got a ticket I'd tell em to get bent, but don't think that will be the case.  Really it is pretty amazing that a major database change of this magnitude is working this well so far and the website works as well as it does. Great that I don't have to go to a completely new site to file my special permits now too. I actually got an email to guide me through submitting spring bear special hunt choices if I needed it and actually received a call Sunday making sure that my purchased tags were correct and everything was working well.

It took me 1-1/2 hours to get my boys and my license this evening.  The store called the license dept 3 times.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
