Trailcam suggestions.
« on: February 28, 2017, 11:24:19 AM »
Just looking for suggestions on a new trailcam. I've got 3 primos truth cams and I'm ready to toss them in the garbage. Seems like whenever I put them out, I go back a month or so later to find that the batteries got wet and camera quit working within a few days of setting them.
I'm wondering a good camera that stays dry on the inside with good quality pictures at a price in the 150-$200 range. Thanks.

I have 3 Bushnell trophy's and 3 Cuddeback IR blackouts and get better quality video and pics from the Cuddebacks, but the Bushnells are good.  Just pulled a Bushnell from the Methow this weekend and had 3100 images on a set of batteries.  Cant beat that.

I like my moultries, brownings, and Bushnells. I don't like my primos either.

Bushnell Trophy Cams

They can seriously take 30,000 plus images on one set of batteries..........just set the sensitivity to LOW

I have two Primos bullet proof cams. I recently bought another from ebay, it works great and for 40 bucks I couldn't be happier.

truth 35 I have 4 of them and all have taken over 40,000 photos each, always put under tree limbs to keep rain from hitting camera.

I have one of those and a Browning Dark Ops.  With lithium batteries they take many thousands of high resolution pics without even putting a dent in battery life.  The only thing I don't like is that they can take pics all day long by being triggered by bright sunlight (even when they face away from the light).  I don't know if that's typical of all cams or just the Brownings.
