I like how they say that the draw will be this week but they can't tell us which of the 5 days it will be. I find it strange that they don't know. Which I believe they don't.

This thread is a lot more interesting than the WDFW website...

If it really is slated for a release on the 24th that's nice.... One weeks notification and time to get ready before the season actually starts.  :bash: :bash:  :dunno:
Granted a lot of people don't start hunting till May or so, but last year in the huckleberry we were on the youth turkey hunt first weekend of April and seeing bears all over.

I honestly don't see why they can't do this draw 6 months to year year in advance.  It's not like they are doing some sort of spring surveys that effect tag allocations.  Alasks does theirs a year out.  Utah and ID results are already out as well :dunno:

They don't want you to have time to prepare for the hunt. That would mean more bears would be killed.I wouldn't be surprised if we dont see the draw results until April 1st.

 :yeah:

Lump the Spring Bear drawing in with all the rest of the special permit drawings.

darn good idea!  Heck they have the following years hunt info in the current game regs.  It would literally be that simple.
