I wouldn't buy one. You can get a known name brand for not much more.

I was thinking the same thing.  It is about $2500-$3000 less though and everything I can find in the reviews in the ATV magazines and off road magazines is they are good machines.  I was just looking for someone with first hand experiences.

ive seen quit a few newer ones for sale on craigslist over the past which to me means the owner regrets buying it.

I know a guy who bought one and walked home on it's maiden trip.

I'd be VERY cautious  ;)

Magazine reviews are more about advertising dollars than anything else. How often do you read a bad magazine review?

I like that tactical black. I've never rode a Kodiak before. What's the big difference between them and Grizzly's? I need a bigger machine than our Hondas. I'm going to be putting tracks on during the winter months. I really like the Grizzly, but the lower price tag always catches my eye.

The Grizzly is a tad wider and smidgen taller and more sporty.  The Kodiak has a slightly lower seat and is built more for work, hunting, trapping etc than the Grizzly which is built for destroying ugly terrain quickly.  Do a side by side comparison and they are really built on many of the same things, engine etc..

So between the EPS and the EPS SE (Kodiaks) the difference is the shifting (push button vs lever) and the SE has diff lock. Is that right?
