Quite the bang for the buck! Canik TP9 SFX.
« on: April 20, 2017, 01:45:28 PM »
Not too long ago I walked into a local shop and they handed me one of the first Canik TP9 SFX's they had got in. After looking it over, what's not to like about it? A striker fire polymer framed well built auto for... wait for it.. $449.00 !!

The quick scoop!

5.1 barrel. Guaranteed 2.5" inch groups at 25 meters for 60,000 rounds
Optics ready, comes with multiple mounting plates for assorted optics
Lighting cuts for weight reduction
Front serrations for working the slide
Extended slide release
Extended Mag release, interchangeable with 4 different lengths
Cerakoted slide
Warne sights with fiber front. Comes with red and green fiber
Increadable trigger with a QUICK reset
Light accessory rail
Two 18 round mags with +2 extensions for 20 rounds in the Mag and one in the pipe for 21 rounds
Serated trigger guard
Quality mags by Mec-Gar

The handgun is smooth shooting, accurate and a pleasure to shoot. Once I ran 500 or so rounds through it and liked it. I dropped by GunFighters Inc and they did their first Kydex holster for one. I then threw on a set of Talon " Granulated " grips and called it good for the time being. When I have time I'll mount a Trijicon RMR and see how it shoots.

Turkish made?  Looks like a nice pistol.  Only challenge may be getting replacement parts if something breaks.  Hopefully not the case though.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Is the grip angle right like a 1911 or wrong like a Glock? 8)
