Late teanaway tags
« on: May 06, 2017, 07:51:17 AM »
So why do you think they got rid of the late season tags for all the weapons? I did notice they opened it up earlier in the season. Think that's why? Was there pressure to change it?

I have a feeling that there was a good amount of pressure to get rid of the late hunts. A lot of private property hunting that time of year brings a lot of attention and a lot of controversy. I never understood why it was the only unit to offer late bull hunts. I sure as hell applied for them every year though!

My gut feel is they got rid of them to accommodate the increased quota of quality tags for September... just a hunch but that's my theory.

I am no fan of the wolves, but I don't think that was the driving factor of the season change for the teanaway bull hunts.
