Computers crash, systems go down, stuff happens. Happens to me at work at times as well.

Plan for that potential ahead and the world will be a much more stress free place.
:yeah: I'll never understand the procrastinators but I do get it if your waiting for results from other states.  But that's about the only reason to wait, I'd have no sympathy for anyone who didn't get in because they just waited and the system crashed at the last minute.

Oftentimes people can't afford them until the last minute.  These things are expensive and I know several people who had to break it out over several pay periods.

Understand it can be a big chunk to lay out all at once, but you know you ar going to do it, so why not toss a few bucks back after hunting season to be ready for the next and avoid the stress of finding it all at once???

I'm not sure, maybe you're better with your money than others. :dunno:

Maybe yes, maybe no.  I think it is more a matter of priority.  I know I only have so much money to work with, that sadly is not going to change anytime soon.  :'(

It seems to me that it is at times, simply a lack of thinking ahead and making it a priority now (life happens and emergencies occure that just can't be planned for), but this is not something that should be a surprise.

When it is an activity that you know is going to be something you will do a year or so in advance and has some stiff costs assicoated with it, seems like if you do struggle, you would toss a few bucks aside to help ease the pain.

If a person saved $1.00 a day, maybe just in pocket change tossed into a jar, starting April 1st when the new licenses start, that would be $365.00 to buy next April 1st licenses.

I think this is just an example of the bigger problem, too many people don't really even try to think or plan ahead about anything...rush...rush...rush to the last minute then, complain when they can't have it RIGHT NOW, or it becomes an unecessary struggle/burden.

I think they should just start closing the application process "sometime in May".  Put in by April or risk missing your chance.  lol
