Went last night after work and got there about 6:45. No line to get in, a few other guys milling around inside.

Good opportunity to checkout all of their gear if you haven't been down to their headquarters in Dixon. Picked up another guide jacket (in grey) for regular wear and that was it. 10% discount which jumps to 15% if you spend over $300.

My order will apparently take 2-3 weeks. Not sure if that's actually the case or what they're telling folks because they weren't looking up inventory on the site. Anyway, if you want to try on some of their gear for the first time, I recommend it.

It's been a while since I bought anything off kuiu but do they charge sales tax on their online store or at the tour event?
People get offended at nothing at all. So, speak your mind and be unapologetic.

Waste of time. Was there ready to spend over 400 bucks until i held their product in my hands. Their rain gear is so loud, animals would hear you coming long before you ever saw them. Unless your looking for thin non waterproof overpriced clothes, dont waste your time.  :twocents:

I Wonder how I managed to kill a nice blacktail this year while head to toe in the Chugach rain gear then. Must be lucky. Or the fact I was dry and comfortable during a pouring rain day. And I  did it by spending a fraction of the price compared to other high end rain gear.
I've had great luck with all their products. Works for me!

To each their own I guess.

Get to know their system, how it's designed to be used, and you'll see it isn't set up for everyone's needs, but those who use it as intended really like it.

As for thin, that's how I like it, I run hot hiking around, I'd rather shed mid layers than have a heavy coat or pants.  It really works well for everything I do.

Ive killed more deer in jeans for 40 bucks than most people have ever killed in the 1500 kuiu gear set up they bought. Marketing isnt for everyone. Youre right, to each their own

More power to ya! I say, wear whatever keeps you comfortable, dry, and able to stay out in the woods longer, at a price point u can afford to it. If that's 42$ jeans than you're doing better than me.

I just found the kuiu stuff works great for me at a price I can afford, opposed to the other high end stuff.

That's exactly what this tour deal is for tho. Get your hands on it and see if u like it.
