Good to know of another local source, rather buy local but only place I knew of when I bought a few years ago was too expensive.

I ended up buying 4"-6"-8" plates from ebay for what the local guys wanted just for a 6" at the time.

So here is my first knocked together attempt. Yes....1 inch pipe is very light for the job but all she needs is a little weight on the feet and I'm sure it will be fine. Actually, the flex in the pipe (I think) will help with the stability. That is the biggest plate, the 10inch, hanging on it. The goal of the stand is to be able to run downrange and set up quickly while at my local range as well as take it out in the field for set up and longer range playing around. So...not bad. Now it needs to be tested!

If you shoot those up close say within pistol range you may want to suspend the plate weighed forward, that should send your ricochets into the ground.

Looks good but I think that your PVC is going to get a lot of shrapnel embedded in it.

I picked up a couple of 6” plates, so far I’ve just whacked them with the pellet rifle but I think they are going to work.  I plan hang them from a steel post setup with para-cord.   Or maybe I’ll just keep using the bungee.
