I bought a used one from a guy who brought it in out of Montana-he had not registered it in Montana, so there was no actual registration to transfer over. (pretty common I understand). Without any registration I had to take it to the Hwy. Patrol inspection office, get it inspected (they run the vin # to make sure it's not been reported stolen) and then go get it registered in this state. You can get a registration for it but have to wait 3 years (I think it's 3 years) to get an actual title. Not a big deal but have to be carful it doesn't actually show up as stolen during the 3 year waiting period. I think with a new one you wouldn't have to go thru this hassle.
