The only hunting license I bought this year is small game, bitter sweet. Anyway so looking forward to this Sept-March  :brew:

Going to be looking at a new 20 to put a few more on the plate.

There is no greater respect to have for wildlife than to harvest an animal fairly and use it's flesh to feed your family.  ~me

I can't wait. I finally found a good spot last year and knocked a couple down. Now it is my new favorite meat. Got a trip with my dad planned since he hasn't been out grouse hunting in a long time. It's going to be a great year.

I'll be giving it a shot this year.  My dog has a season under her belt now and we're itching to get out and hunt some birds!

Actually , I checked trail cams yesterday and jumped a couple big Blues!!

I may need to get up there this fall and pop some birds.

I wish my dad was still around, because I'd turn him loose with a far better shotgun than he ever owned.  About three weeks and counting....
