:yeah: this guy had me rolling. Was also impressed by the performance of the pistol. Like he said I think it would make a great addition to a dirty old work truck!

Cool video. Impressed by the gun,  but I still couldn't buy one because it looks like it was made in 8th grade metal shop.

I understand Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder but similar to a certain centerfire rifle that I think is just flat out butt fugly, I wouldn't take one of these fugly b*stards if I was given one.  I've talked to a couple sales guys that laughed and agreed they are fugly as all get but they told me they've heard they actually shoot pretty well and that video proves they can take a licking and keep on ticking.  I handled one once just to see what it felt like, holy moly, they are built like a tank and nearly as heavy as one.  :chuckle:

Interested if you have had a negative experience with HI Point? The more I read about them , it's beginning to appear they have a solid reliability reputation.....

Maybe they've gotten better. Had friends who owned them because of their price point and they always had feeding issues when we went shooting. It might be fun to go beat one up and see how it shoots. Maybe one of their carbines.

They have some magazine issues but the guns themselves are actually pretty good. I've shot a couple of them and they all went bang as long as you could get a round in the chamber. We just had to tweak the mags a bit and then they ran fine.
