Only 1 category per applicant per year! Because 10,000 guys trying for 10 categories is much worse than 1,000 guys trying for 1 category... oh wait. Damn rigged system. Get rid of the points. Once you pass 11 statistically you're less likely to draw! That's what I hear anyways...

I drew tags this year and I'm still complaining and believe that our system sucks. I would trade all of my points in all of my categories to to go to a system like Idahos...

You should call Fish and Wildlife and decline your tags in protest.

You may find better hunting in general units & better drawing odds.  BTW I hunt ID for deer in most yrs.

I do hunt Idaho...have been for years. It's just one of many I hunt. I'm just trying to use up my points here so I can stop applying. e. Our system is one of the worst for a number of reasons. I love it when people make assumptions...

Fun to read. You guys will never have a viable draw system over there. If anything I'd put money on your game department finding someway to make even more categories to apply for. Just think how much they could make if all you guys were buying 20+ Apps with all your points

22 years... think about that for a minute.   Maybe you'll draw sometime in the next 22.  Good luck.

Add up all that money you paid for points and you could probably go on a hunt or two.  Realistically speaking right now you have nothing to show for it.   Sure you may get drawn, but you could go out swinging as well.

22 years is quite the gambling streak though.
