You think they open it on Weds. knowing that 80% of fisherman can't make a weekday?
Why not Sat. 9-1

I would guess they used a weekday because they had extra quota but not enough for a weekend opener. I know when I shrimp the Wednesdays there are about 1/4 of the boats, maybe less.

They had quota left but cant/wont double up on a crab day. Way to many pots in the water. So their only choices where tues or wed. Not the best tides that day either. Ill be out there though.
