How do you like that trigger? I was checking one out at the range and it seemed really smooth,I did fire it but it felt nice dry firing it. Thinking about picking one up.

Its better IMO. I'm very used to the Glock triggers having that sponginess, then the wall, then break. The Sig just has a little take up, then wall, then click. I think its smoother, lighter, better overall. of course only range time will tell. Its kinda what I would imagine if a Glock trigger and a 1911 trigger had a love child  :chuckle:

At one point or another I've owned just about every flavor of Glock that they make.  The Glock 23 Gen2 is a fine carry size and you should be able to get a "smoking" deal on a used one these days since the "flavor of the month" is now 9mm.  I can't remember exactly but I want to say that my Gen2 was my primary for over 10 years never had a problem one.  You should be very happy with your purchase.  In the end it doesn't really matter IMHO with Glocks they all do the job that they are intended for.  Just practice, practice and practice and it will serve you well.

Some will argue the merits of 9 vs 40 and that's fine just buy what you're comfortable with and never look back.  I do highly recommend a good quality carry belt and a quality holster to make the system comfortable for you to carry.  Congrats on your new impending purchase

well I picked up the glock 23 and I must say it fits me just right . tried the sig 320 didn't feel as good to me . it is a fine weapon but the glock just felt good . tested fire both and for me it was the glock hands down . the sig grip angle just didn't do it for me . so this old glock gen 2 23 is my new edc

"tested fire both and for me it was the glock hands down"

Absolutely the right way to go.  That's what I was going to suggest.  No "perfect gun" exists for any one person.  If it did no one would admit it anyway because that would me we would all only need one and that's just crazy talk!

Congratulation on you new EDC and not being a sheep of the population!
