How do you know that bull is even still alive if you have not yet placed your camera? As soon as I saw the pic I thought it must be last years because that picture does not match antler development for most elk right now.  Also could you post the coordinates of his location so I can check on his welfare?

lol, I put him to bed at the end of the season, so unless winter got him, I know right where he will be again this fall. I have been babysitting quite a few bulls in my area just waiting for the right year and hunter to go get them. Big mature HEARD Bulls find areas that have good feed,water and cover and will continue to use them until one of the three things are gone. Not worried about hunting pressure because of how remote with very limited access they are in.

You will need stock and one hell of a strong back to even get close to his home. Big Heard bulls don't get that way by hanging around all the roads and wknd warriors.

The OP is an outfitter - that's what outfitters are supposed to do.  It's part of how they earn their $ in my opinion.  He's not claiming to have sole rights to this bull, he just put in the work to find him and keep tabs on him.  One of his paying clients will then be the recipient of that hard work by getting an opportunity at taking that bull.
