A spot to fill a doe tag around area 2013.
« on: July 22, 2017, 09:38:43 AM »
This forum is a great source of knowledge because of everyone on here willing to help. I was just politely straightened out by "Lingcod" regarding my search for a place to hunt in area 2013.

Thank you, much appreciated!

I'm glad he was polite!

You're going to drive hours and hours (and hours) for a doe tag?  If I was going to do it, I'd head to the National Forest lands right in the middle of the unit, or one of the smaller blocks of DNR land.  I'm betting there's a doe in there somewhere.  You might find the company of a few hundred other hunters as well.   Good luck!

Find a farm with deer on it, take off your camo and knock on the door with a smile on your face at a reasonable hour.
