Do they offer a 320 with a thumb safety?

I do believe it can be added, but why would you want one?

I ate a lot of paint chips as a child. In all seriousness it's just a personal preference thing, I know fully well that striker fired pistols are every bit as safe as a double action revolver but I just like the safety.

On my Sig MCX pistol there was a recall on the bolt, they gave us a $50 gift cert. toward Sig products for the inconvenience.

What's the recall for on the Sig320?  I haven't bought one yet, should I wait or is it not that big of a deal??

An independent channel did an nonstandard drop test and the gun will supposedly fire. Standard tests are side and barrel drops. This on is on the back of the slide which is nonstandard for a drop test but non the less those guns fired. Sig is calling it a voluntary fix which tells me it's not all models.

Monday I'll know more.

At this point I would wait and see what the fix is first.

:)  http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2017/08/02/breaking-p320-recall-issued-dallas-police-prohibited-duty-till-repaired/                 turns out there was NEVER an ACCIDENTAL discharge. there is a sentence in the sig manual that s says "it might fire if dropped" that statement is what this Dallas Police dept thing is about.

I've read that as well. I think all this is over that independent test.

Well I know the you tube tests they pulled the bullets. Just a live primer and case in the gun. No bullet to cycle the action. In any case I'm glad to see they have the fix. Again I hope they so some kind of compensation for the hassle and the fix better be free. However in the scheme of things I do think this is a minor issue, we don't go around dropping our guns all day.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a faulty spring, 10 being a run away machine pistol when the triggers pulled. I'd say it's a 4 being it's a specific angle to go off, not just random dropping. Still not happy they overlooked this.
