Anyone see the 405" sheds that are laying on the table inside the informational buiding?  Talk about a monster!  It says they were from Kittitas County, found on 3-9-08.

Anybody have a picture or the story? I know they didn't come from the Kittitas feed station because they would be at one of the feeders house!

No.  Didn't get a story.  I just know that's one big pig! :yike:  The mass and tine length is crazy.  There is nothing even close to it at the Oak Creek station.

I'll try to sneak back up there this week and snap a picture of them.  Since they were last years sheds, I would love to see what that big boy looked like this year.

Thanks Rez,
It would be great to see a pic! It sounds like an incredible set! The bulls in the feed lots over here in Eburg keep gettin bigger every year! The feeders pick up most of the big ones and then sneak em home. Enforcement looks the other way..... Our tax payers dollars at work.

The sad thing is, I wouldn't mind sneaking these home myself.  :chuckle:  His mass is amazing.  Every tine is long and massive with some impressive palmation at the base of 4,5 and 6.  A dandy indeed!

That's a pretty bold statement about the feeders, groundhog, especially coming from a suspected fence-jumper.  It's my understanding that any shed found in the feed lot has to be picked up, tagged, inventoried and turned into the office. This simply removes the temptation, keeping the harassment of the wildlife on the winter range to a minimum.

MVHUNT,
Suspected fence jumper? Not sure where you are gettin your information but IT IS WRONG!!! I bet your information came from a feeder! Typical tactic. Point the finger at someone else. I am a a shed hunter but I do not jump the fence. I do just fine huntin antlers from free ranging bulls in other areas. I would not enjoy hiking in an area that I have to look over my shoulder. If I am a fence jumper than why did I recommend that the WDFW raise the fine to $1,000 for anyone that gets caught sneaking in?   I would gladly take a lie detector test if a certain local feeder would take one! I know he would fail!

You are the one making a bold statement especially since you do not know me or anything about me. I on the other hand have a lot of very reliable information to base my statement on. The only thing that I should not have said is that the enforcement looks the other way. I think the enforcement guys are straight shooters that don't believe that one of their employees would sneak antlers out so they do not take the accusations seriously. Ya know what? It pisses me off but I am through with it.

Has anyone seen a bull that would even come close to that score in Kittitas County or at the feeding area up there?  The damn thing looked like it came from the Blue's!

Hey Rez,
Still hopin to see a pic! Sounds like an incredible bull. With the spike only regs and limited big bull tags I think a monster could come from just about anywhere in the state. All it takes is good genes and some age.
You are right though, the Blues seem to have more than their fair share of monsters. Sure would like to draw that tag one of these years.......
